We filmed and recorded some worship at our church to use in our online services last summer and we used Chris’ services to mix the audio. He truly brought our worship to life! The mixes he did for us added life and texture to the music, giving energy to the bigger songs and intimacy to the gentler songs.

I will definitely be calling on Raindance again for our future projects.

Amazing people!

As a music director of my church, Raindance came along just in the right time! At the beginning of lockdown we started recording worship songs for our online services but in the middle of our struggle, I could not describe enough how much they have blessed us with what they do!
Chris and Nic have been excellent every single step of the way, having that perfect balance between professionalism and a massive heart for God.
They have done for us many band recordings (being in charge of the entire process from recording to mixing and mastering), pre-production, post-production, and solo/independent projects as well.

They are currently helping us out with our Stream Live worship experience and we are more than happy with the results! Super recommended if you are going through the same!

I’ve worked with Chris and Nic on a range of projects at Raindance over the past 20 years. Starting as a teenager recording Demo’s with no idea how the recording process worked to completing full length albums. They have always provided exceptional support and professionalism and become an integral part of the music and sounds they help shape.
The studio has evolved a great deal over the years, as they have moved with the changes in technology, and this, along with their outstanding musicianship, creative energy and open minded collaborative approach, make it an ideal place to shape and build ideas.
I’ve also learnt a great deal from them as they are always willing to explore ideas and give honest feedback and discuss song writing, recording, production and mastering.

Extremely talented musicians who possess the ability to interpret and add to your piece of music, and in doing so raise it to a whole new level. I have never felt more at home in a recording studio environment than at Raindance Music. Since first meeting and working with Chris & Nic in 2013, I have never looked back and would not consider recording anywhere else.

Chris is a brilliantly skilled engineer, but also a fantastic musician, equally gifted in keyboards, guitars & bass, so can bring his expertise, experience and creativity to any project. He very easily catches the vision and heart of the artist in a way that will inspire them and capture the very best performance and arrangement.

Having an in-house drummer in Nic is a real advantage too (not least cost saving) as his brilliant skill and experience in playing and recording drums comes as part of the package.

Most of all, it’s the warmth of Christian character, servant-hearted attitude and the pursuit of excellence – often going the extra mile – which makes working with Chris and Nic such an enjoyable and productive experience.

I can thoroughly recommend Raindance Music for any recording project. (And you will not find more competitive rates or value for money, for what you get, anywhere else).
