Industrial & Brand Designer

Hey, I’m Dan Glover an experienced freelance designer based in the beautiful Brighton & Hove. For the past six years I have been working as an Industrial Designer, designing physical product within Audio, Sportswear, Kitchenware, UX Design and Aircraft Seating. I worked on all aspects of the process from early concept sketches, to 3D modelling and visualisation all the way through to branding, marketing, packaging, social media and web design. I am so grateful for the experiences and opportunities to work in these places and the skills it has given me and have tried and tested skills across the disciplines of design.

In 2021 I took the leap of faith and started out as a freelance designer working on design projects within product design, app design, graphic design and brand design – partnering with people and businesses who better align with my core values and operate with care for people and planet. I have really enjoyed the freedom this has given and want to be able to offer my skills to those within the Christian Creative Community.

Case Study – Holland Road Baptist Church

Since moving to Hove in 2018, I have had the opportunity to work closely with the church leadership team to create a new brand identity that better reflects the church’s values and presence in their neighbourhood. This involved creating a new logo and brand strategy, including brand guidelines and sub-brands for kids, youth and students. I also developed a new Squarespace website, as well as creating updated flyers, invites, posters, signage and wayfinding information. It was great to work with the leadership team, church members and the wider community on this project. I really enjoyed serving the church in this way and would love to work with other churches or charities in a similar way.
